Meet The TeamMr Karim Boukhalfa BSc(Hons) DO MCSP SRP MICO
Registered Osteopath and Physiotherapist, Member of the Institute of Classical Osteopathy. Mr Boukhalfa is the founder and clinic director of SOS Physiotherapy & Osteopathy. He studied full time for 7 years, qualified as a physiotherapist in 1989, as an osteopath in 1995 at the British School of Osteopathy, and was awarded a diploma in Classical Osteopathy in 2004. He specialises in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation (including post-operative care) of complex musculo-skeletal conditions in both children and adults and all sports injuries. He has been an osteopathic technique lecturer for 6years, teaching at the British School of Osteopathy (London) and the Sutherland Osteopathic College (Paris).
Doug Foot MBAcC BSc(Hons) PGCE
Doug has been practising acupuncture, shiatsu and sports massage since 1997 and is a senior lecturer and teacher at Greenwich University. His areas of interest are stress, anxiety / depression, back pain, arthritis, irritable bowels syndrome and migraines. Eve Smith
Eve has been welcoming patients for the past 3 years. She handles telephone enquires expertly.
Alexander Irving BSc (Hons) Ost Med. DO. ND.
Alex completed a four year full time training in Osteopathy at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in London. Since qualifying he has worked in a variety of busy clinic in London. He has undertaken postgraduate training in Cranial Osteopathy with the Suthertherland Cranial College. He has also trained in the use of neuro-muscular rehabilitation (especially useful for post injury rehabilitation). In addition to his work at our clinic Alex teaches Osteopathic Technique and supervises in the clinic at the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine.
